Lazy Sunday.

Handball?? Do you ever heard of this sport??I dont think it's famous in Malaysia. I got into this sport back in 2006, and eventually i join the Handball Club in CLHS.I've been active in this sport since then. Surprisingly, handball is included in Olympics. Remember to watch it!!! A good sport indeed.

I play quite a number of sports all these 16 years. And one of them was the KARATE-DO. Proudly, i would like to boast about, I'M A BLACK BELT HOLDER!!! haha. But what im frustrated is, i cant see this sport in Olympics where Malaysia actually has a very strong team in this sport, and Penang is a powerhouse and produces a lot of national players. Sobz.. Malaysia misses another chance of winning some medals.

Suffice to say, Squash becomes a popular sport in our nation since our Nicol David climbed up the World Number 1 spot. Unfortunately, this is another sport unavailable in Olympics. Boo. Hopes of winning a gold medal?? Now, it all depends on few of you, Lee Chong Wei, Josiah Ng and others.

By the way, today is someone's birthday, one big man, one famous guy, which i adore his way of public speaking very much.
It's him!! Happy 61st Birthday, Datuk Seri.

Opposition coalition's premier designate Anwar Ibrahim has a birthday wish - a big win in Permatang Pauh by-election to send a clear message to the nation that it was time to change Malaysia's political landscape.

Well, another Lazy Sunday for me. Although my test is around the corner, i cant really concentrate. Been reading blogs, catching the latest news and upsetting with personal stuff. And now the Olympics has officially started, i love sports so much, what to do??

P/S: Handball is in action at around 8.45pm while the Man Utd vs Portsmouth is around 9.55pm. Shit, what about my Physics and Chemistry?? I dont want to have that feeling as i did last friday. I hate Sundays. XD

2008 CLHS 2nd Term Test

We Chung Ling boys will never get to plan our holidays peacefully, thanks to the disruption from the test or the examination as Chung Ling has the tradition of setting the examination's date few days before the holidays. However, only form 4s and form 6s are involved in the 2nd term test. The form 3s and form 5s will be facing the trials exam. While for the afternoon session?? ya, their exam finished in conjunction with the opening ceremony of Beijing 08 Olympics. Boo.

Well, the first day has passed, and there are three more days to go. I've been neglecting my studies for quite a time and suffice to say, i got a lot of work to catch up. (but, im lazy!!! XD)
I don't enjoy the current education system at all and it's almost pointless to be at class nowadays. ( you 4sa5 boys surely understand what im talking about!) And that's why, you can see a lot of tutors outside are driving imported cars. They have to thank to this kind of education system instead of thanking the oh-so-good parents.

Personally, i enjoy the ambience of Chung Ling during the end-of-year examination in the morning session. I was shocked to see how quiet a school can be. Only the study-is-everything boys will be attending school. Form 3s may finish thier PMR at that time, while form 5s and upper 6s will be at home revising their books, thus the school only has the big bunch of form 4s boys. I remembered how different it was when i went to school last year for the last few weeks( i didnt go to school for a total of around 20 days last year. XD), even some classes had their door locked as whole class were absent!! haha.

*I may have flunked that paper, but it actually wakes me up. So, dare to fail??? hahaha

Teachers Day 08'

All it has to go back to the last day of the examination period which was also the day before the holidays we've just past. It left the last paper, Civic on the last day, and Chung Ling High School was celebrating the annual Teachers' Day.

For you guys information, the school's admins would present gifts for the teachers on that day every year. And, fortunately, this BIG project goes to the CLHS Young Enterprise of the year. It's the OZIO Enterprise for the year 2008. I'm serving as a dead member currently.

Discussions and meetings for the gift were being conducted for a few months and at last we came out of something useful for teachers.Look below for what gift we have done. And the idea was from Liang Sun, the Marketing Director of the company, if im not mistaken.

It's really weird for us at first. Why?? We were to use the Kemahiran Hidup Bengkel for Jahitan in CHUNG LING HIGH SCHOOL!!! I bet most of the Chung Ling boys will not have a chance to go in. When i went in for the first time, it gave me a feeling like, WOW!! How many years that this room is being left unoccupied??

Below is the simple procedures of our production for this gift:
Firstly, the preparation and measurement work. Alvin's in the job.

Then, the process goes to the sewing part. It needs the skills a lot. I tried a few, but Shi Jie, the Production Manager, did most of them. Well done, boy!!

The string is then tied up. But the long, long, long string has to be measured first.

Lastly, it goes to the Quality Control Department. Here's Lip Wei, the Quality Control Manager, doing his work.

We didn't use so many sewing machines as most of them are dysfuntionable and we actually didn't really know how to use it. Haha. We gave up and used the electronic one instead. LOL

Tatatata!!! Here it is!!

It's a pouch. The purpose of it is to keep the marker pens. We designed it according to the size and the shape of the marker pens. We had this idea since we found that most of the Chung Ling teachers have a lot of marker pens, but they just tied it together with a rubberband.

Ya, we also gave them a pen inside the pouch. It has ''Happy Teachers Day 08 OZIO'' printed on it.

*To the OZIOssss, come on guys!! You all started it
such amazingly at first. Don't let it down. One more month to the big, big, big
event!!!! Wake up!! Wake up!!

Teejin, with his thoughts...

Okay, as i've mentioned in one of my first few posts in this blog, i will introduce myself a little by a little. Since i got some feelings to reveal some of my secrets (Nah, as if! haha) so i will write a few things that are mainly about me or what i'm thinking.

1) I am a procrastinator. I almost delay everything even things that i ought to do. Yet, i'm glad as i always able to finish it at the eleventh hour.

2) I prefer an education system that emphasizes the development of critical thinking, more practical work for the application of knowledge we learned and more importantly curriculum & core curriculum that offered are able to challenge students to be responsible world citizens who think creatively, reason critically, communicate effectively and learn enthusiastically.

3) I care the most among the school stuff at this moment is the Leo Club. Things gone so so so wrong for this club not only lately, perhaps these few years?? Haha. I will put some effort on it once my examination is over.

4) I enjoy sleeping and eating. I can sleep just after a little while i've been awake. And it's a long sleep, not a nap!!!LOL I really love food, but only that suits my taste buds or some really extraodinary delicacies. (Well, who else dont like to sleep and eat??)

5) I belongs to the greatest club in the world, Manchester United. I am the club's fan since I was 10. And I only watch the football of Manchester United, you're wrong if you think I watch most football matches. I said to myself I will visit to the Old Trafford one day.

I wanted to write ten facts about me at first. Too bad, time and my brain do not allow me. Since my mind only full of some Science facts right now and the time flies so fast like warning me i'm in the last few minutes of life, I might as well stop here and get back into study.

Stay tuned, more to come...

Jing-Si Books & Cafe

Finding a place to study? Finding a place to have some chit-chatting with friends? Finding some Chinese books? Finding a place to relax with some drinks??

Here you go, 静思书轩, Jing-Si Books & Cafe. It is located along Beach Street, Penang.

I went there quite frequent last year when the PMR was within a few weeks time.

Especially the exam's days, here is crowded. Come early, that's my advise.

Whenever you want to study, just come here, and get along a friend with you if you dont wanna be alone.

And!! Get a drink here, mostly tea. If im not mistaken, all the drinks are priced at RM3, and the money will go to charity.

So, this is how it looks like inside Jing Si. Inside here is quite silent and even my shutters' sound could be heard. Hmmm... You guys better lower your voice when talking over here.

Okay. That's it. Another place for you guys to hang out. haha. Strongly recommended by Teejin.
